drym

drym (read “driːm” term resulting from the combination of the English terms, “dry” and “dream”; www.drym.net) is a non-invasive system, capable of detecting both the urination and bowel movements produced by a person with urinary or fecal incontinence, and send a warning signal to the staff responsible for their care.

drym is the result of a joint project FISIOALARM (Sep. 2009 – Jun. 2012) between two companies, tioman & partners (Inventor, promoter of drym and project leader) and Equalid (ICT company), with the participation of the technology center Leitat. The FISIOALARM project has been funded by the partners and the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism (MINETUR), under the Avanza R&D subprogram in the framework of the Strategic Action on Telecommunications and Information Society 2009, within the National Plan for Scientific Research, Development and Technological Innovation 2008-2011.
